I'm getting new silencers for my CBR, and the choice stands between two ordinary round silencers in 4:2 configuration. The one is a aluminium silincer from IXIL and the other is a titanium silencer from BSM.

Does any of you have any experience with theese two silencers ? any good or bad things at all ?

I have been told that IXIL silcers is taking HP away from the bike instead of making more HP. Is that true ?

Can I polish titanium to match a pair of chromed heat shields ?

What do you have on now and whats wrong with them? I like the look that you have now. sorry no info on pips I can not find anything for mine that i like that much that i am willing to spend the kind of $$ they are asking for.

 

The silencers I have on now i scratched because A car drove into me recently. The cardrivers insurrance is paying for the new cans so no probs there.
