Default Ixil exhaust

Hey guys, I know I ask alot about exhaust but since LOR doesn't make an exhaust for the f4i anymore I don't know what do do. But anyways, I have found this exhaust called ixil and I was wondering if anybody has any experience with these? And also wondering if I should just get it to be different or get something I know?

i used to want an ixil. you know theres tons of exhaust companies out there why were you so set on lor and why dont you know what to do now just because of that? yoshi and akrapovic make great exhausts, two brothers makes good sounding ones, scorpion, m4, micron, hr1, d&d. just go on youtube and find the one that you like the sound of the best. Ive always been a fan of two brothers just for how deep the sound is and its a slip on so i dont really care about performance unless im getting a full system.

I don't care about performance either I just like a low rumble and I just really don't like long exhaust cans for some strange reason. And I know I can just cut it down but it just goes against me to cut a brand new exhaust

Check out delkevic, from what I've read they're good and at a decent price too.

How can you tell how loud they are? They have it looks like 2 shorties, an 8 inch round, and 9 inch oval. I think the longer one's have the baffle you can remove to make them louder, but from your post I thought you were only interested in shorties. They have various lengths 8, 9, 13, 14, and 18, the shorter they are the louder they should be.

I am interested in only shorties and the way I know how loud they are is because I emailed them regarding the db level, the 14" stubby from delkevic is in the high 80's with the db killer out. The 8&9" are both rated at 120 db which is about 20 db's louder than the yoshi and 2 brothers exhaust.

Oh, stock is pretty quiet, I thought any slip on would be louder than the stock pipe.

From what I have gathered, the stock exhaust db rating for a sport bike is limited to around 84-86 db by law. So the 14" exhaust from
Them would be a bit louder but not by much. And the other two are just as loud if not louder than d&d if u have ever heard them, and I really don't want my ears to bleed after then end of a ride!..... Well maybe bit of an overstatement but I still don't want to give myself a major head ache

I understand that, I wear earplugs b/c the wind noise just drives me nuts.
