Default brakes squeeking and grab

i bought a 93cb1000f and it has ridden great. when i first bought it there was a little bit of a squeek to the brakes but the owner had told me that there where new brake pads on it. so, i assumed that they where still breaking in and would stop squeeking soon. ive put 500mi on this thing and they seem to be squeeking worse i sound like a school bus stopping. also, they do feel like they grab and after that there fine. i read the other post and maybe its the pads, fluid, and my reservoir is a little low. its not the the low line but 1/4 of the way there. im taking the bike in on mon. to get tune up, and get the brakes checked out.

also, if anyone is in slo county cal. hit me up.

Hi,
Believe it or not ALL brakes on ALL vehicles squeel, it is the frequency that stops us from hearing most of them. Try a simple solution first, a thin smearing of cappaslip on the rear of the pads and clean up the caliper pins, and caliper parts that touch the pads themselves. All these could do with a THIN smearing of copper goodness! Thats should cure the noise...

+1 Ara
Copper grease on back of pads stops the squeal every time !

Squeeking AND grabbing at the same time would suggest that the pistons are sticking slightly in the calipers.

Time for a caliper rebuild I think.
