Default Bought a cbr1000f

Well I bought my first sport bike today! Seemed pretty good except the thing wouldnt shift into gear when I was moving it tonight. Is there a safety switch or something? I just thought about the kickstand.... I guess I can run out and check that lol. Well anyway. It seems like a great bike. 96 model gray and green. It is a little on the rough side on spots but everyone has like it that has seen it.

Nice looking bike, should be able to change gear, might have to rock it.
Wont start if not in natural and side stand is down, Haven’t tried a start in gear, side stand up and clutch out (properly should one day to see[while on centre stand])

Yeah when I went out and tried again. I understood what was going on. I just decided I didnt like how it was parked so I was trying to move it. I knew the clutch was fine but it would just die as soon as I shifted. Well I know why now lol.
