okay i bought then bike replaced the battery because it wouldnt turnover after replacing the battery rode it for a few hours shut it off and turned on fine then when i went to start it up from going to the store it started doing the same thing i'm a newbie to the motorcycle world. today was the first time riding this bike and loved it 93 1000f does any one got an idea about trouble shooting or know what the issue is?

 

I hear the voltage regulator/rectifier is finicky.. and yours may be3 causing your charging problems.. i guess it could be the alternator too, but I've never had a problem yet, I'll let someone else elaborate

it did the exact same thing to me.
it`s a dead easy diy fix.
