Default RE: Battery

I would buy a nice sealed battery fron Westco online. They are worth the money and will ship it to you. I paid about $70.00 for the battery in my other bike. They are not those cheap $20 batteries that you can buy almost anywhere and dont last long or give you good cranking amps.

The cheapest option for you would be to find someone in the motor trade and get them to buy you one from Dingbro, There's one in Glasgow(437 Townmill Road, Off Alexandra Parade).

ORIGINAL: unforgivenreality
if you use a maintainer over the winter i would opt for a gel cell battery cause a battery tender will cook all the acid out of a wet cell battery in a month or so
You must live in the sun, because in the heat of Texas my batterywill last more than a month, before I put some distilled water to restore the level.
My bike is garaged and has the Battery Tender is on24/7.
Checking the acid/water level, is part of my weekend pre-Flight, along with the brakes, chain and air pressure.
I have a Yuasa OEM (replaced4 times in 20 years).
