Yeah blue , the seat in your pics looks a lot more 'do-able' , then the later seat. The part that wraps around the tank definitely needs stitching and forking out for the proper equipment is expensive.

It's nice to have the satisfaction of sitting back and admiring your own work , but in my case it would have been embarrassment rather than pride

I got mine redone as well by a uspholterer 2 colors, turned out pretty good and very solid, I choose the non sliperry vinyl, works very well.

I did one for mine with some black vinyl,

**TIP** heat the fabric with a hair dryer or heat gun this makes it more pliable otherwise its a right bitch to do.

Also a staple gun with a long nose, I used a air stapler to do mine.

So yes it can be done but you will need some patience.

I got one done the other day for my ZZR600. Cost me 88 bux and he did a great job.
