94' carburator swap.
I am working on a 94' 1000F It was obtained by a mechanics lean. I have some pictures of the carbs because the choke dosent work and by the way the airbox is set up I do not believe they are the original carbs. any information would be great because I do not know much about these bikes and you all are the experts.

with the exception of the blue vacuum caps those look exactly like mine. off a 1994 cbr1000f...i will post more pics to my album if you need them
i had the same gunk around the airbox also. the airbox to carb gromet has two possible positions they can be installed and will leak air past the filter if not sealed

The consensus is yes. The air box is standard with all the gunk. The carbs may or may not be original (minor differences) but appear to be correct.
For further comparison see https://cbrforum.com/forum/album.php?albumid=2340 it’s all the pics I have of mine

Carbs are the right ones for the year.
Make sure the vacuum hose on the left side carb is connected to the fuel petcock or you won't get fuel through.
A good clean and you should be good to go - judging from the state of the carbs they have been well cared for, or the bike hasn't done much mileage.
If you need a manual go to the Hurricane section and download one............
Oh and connect the choke cable or it won't start...........

Hey thanks shadow bike has about 8,000 miles on it. Were just having troubles getting the choke to work the po took a bunch of hoses off. And when the shop manager asked him why he replyed with "weight reduction". So that he could go faster bahaha now we have to go through the whole bike and figure out what else he weight reduced

Yep, everything looks stock to me as well. There were extra hoses on the california models.... that may be what all the vac capping is about. See if there is a PAIR sticker on the airbox and see if you can get an idea of the routing from that vac diagram.
And yes, I'd definitely clean them up and see about that leaky bowl.
Here is a picture of my carbs off a '95 Cali model with PAIR.
Notice the extra hoses and how I have them set up. This is how I did it so it would run correctly. Hope it helps some.
