Default 88 Hurricane Headlight Problem

Hey everybody,

I bought a 1988 Hurricane 1000F recently and got it running and everything but I can not get the headlight to work. I took apart the starter switch to make sure all the wires were connected and they are...what next? I dont know where the relay is or how to test it. I need help so I can get out there and ride! Thanks!

-Matt

Well, do you know the bulbs are good? Have you measured the connectors to the headlamp assembly with a voltmeter to see if they have power?

Thanks for the replies. I took the starter switch apart and put it back together to check for loose wires and now the light works! Maybe something was just loose.
Thanks again. I will be looking to your advice for the future!
