Anyone Familiar with a rattle that comes and goes around the Radiator area?
I simply turn the front wheel and it goes away, but comes back when riding.
Curious if anyone has experienced this issue, I have not investigated at this point, but plan to soon.
Thanks All!

I think they are built into them at the factory ..
What does the rattle sound like .... technical descriptions below ...
metallic ? ( tinkle tinkle chinka chinka, )
or plastic-ie ? ,( buzzzz click buzzz) ) [:-]
ok ... so my noise id system may have flaws in it

I am glad you approve of my noise description system mate
If it only a plastic-ie sound, well at least it more than likely will not be harmful to you or your ride at least..
To help you locate it ...
I would be going over all the parts with a long-ish piece of non abrasive plastic or similar as a probe to get into all those hard to get at places..
Just put a little bit of preasure on everything till you notice a change in the noise .. then go in for the kill with yu tools and get the barstard mate ...
Dunno about the wheel bearings though Dragon64.... (plastic-ie noises ?? hmm ) standing still and moving ?? narr.. think I would leave them alone for the minute mate

na there has been a lot of complaints with this rattle noise you all speak of its been on this form since i joined up almost 2 years ago.. there is a tensioner that has to do with adjusting something im sure if you look in this form it will come up like i said it has been an on going thing in this form, butthere is no way to fix this all that does by making it tighter or losser makes the rattle louder or faster.. Its a honda thing nothing to worry about i have owned my 96 cane for 2 years not and hadnt had many problems with it and there all almost the same buile from 88 on up.. And for a tire bearing all you have to do is get the wheel off the ground a little bit wether it be a lift or crank ties and lift it up by a tree and move the tire side to side if its not loose then dont worry there fine but if the tire jumps .22mm side to side its time for new bearings and they usually go out depending how you ride (if ur like me and ride during the summer months only) then 3-4 years as im told good luck!!
