1987 Hurricane 1000 Problems
I recently brought an '87 hurricane and it's running like it's not getting fuel very well. There is a tube which leaves what I think the manual says is the Secondary Air Injection. It's my first bike so I am not going to pretend to know anything about it, but at idle vacuum the suction along a large tube which meets a T, then going to each Secondary Air Injection control valves is really great. I have a turbo car and I know any vacuum leaks like this would cause a lot of problems. After running for the while the bike sometimes stops firing on all cylinders and loses power - I pull over, let it cool down and then in 5 minutes it runs okay but still misses at low RPMS quite a bit. What would you guys recommend me doing to get it running good? Basically, I am just looking for some information on what to do to get it running good and where all hoses go etc because it seems the guy who put it together last was all sorts of hack. Thanks in advance.

Sounds like the bike just needs setting up ( carb balance, pilot screws etc )
Unless you need to have it fitted - many people remove the PAIR valves and Secondary injection system.
You will get a much better response if you post your issue in the CBR1000F section here - CBR 1000F "Hurricane" - CBR Forum - Enthusiast forums for Honda CBR Owners
EDIT - you will also find the workshop manuals on that thread for the bike.
