Default 1987 Hurricane 1000

I`m the new guy here. I just bought a 1987 black and red Hurricane 1000 off of ebay. Only 9300 miles. The bikes in Michigan and I`m in Massachusetts. I`ll have to have it shipped. Any info on thisa bike would be greatly appreciated.

You'll need the works manuals.

OR
http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/midlife/i...ice_Manual.pdf
and for the Haynes Manual in GIF format for 87-96

Buy a cheap ticket to MI and take I90 to MA.

9300 miles. Now thats a find.Having aHonda service manual can help you with most mechanical issues and help to get to know how your bike ticks. Got mine off of ebay. So far I have learned alot off of this forum. Any specific things you wanted to know about the bike. Also if you dont want to ship or ride your bike and dont have a truck you can rent a Penski truck and haul it. Me and a friend flew from NC to Chicago and picked up a VF1000R and hauled it back like that. Then just drop off the truck there locally. Had a blast in Chicago.

Nice find, thought I did OK when I bought mine with 15K. When will it arrive or did you decide to ride it back?

Nice find. Send some pics when you get it so we can all see, Its good to see these bikes when they are still in their original colours. Shadow1 has given you what you need and also hunt down haynes manual in line fours and then you will have everything to help you.
