My beloved has just contacted a upholsterer she has known for years. He has been upholstering for over 40 years so hopefully he knows what he is doing.

He's coming around to my place next week to take a look and give me a price. My missus says he's awesome at upholstering which I would hope after doing it for 40 years.

If he say he can't/won't be doing it then Ilkeston here I come, certainly giving them your name Dave.

Thanks for the information.

John, Dave and I got our seat covers from fleabay and I know there are some covers on there for the MK1. Not sure what sort you are looking for though.

I will see what I can fine and post some links if I find any.

BLACK STITCH CUSTOM HONDA CBR 1000 F 87-88 DUAL LEATHER SEAT COVER | eBay

John

This is a link to a seat cover in black. This company do the covers in all sorts of colours and they have a 100% feedback so very good.

Once you get the seat cover you just need to find a upholsterer to fit it.

Hope this helps.

I bought a seat cover from the same people that Tiggr bought his and it has just been fitted. It's not on the bike but looks awesome.

Hi Scruff,

Yes that is how they come, with no hole in the cover. Your upholsterer shouldn't have any problems putting the hole in the cover once it is seated correctly.

You are right though good quality cover and feels better when you ride.
