VFX Kits
I didn't see a lot of hits on this forum when I searched for VFX, so I thought I'd tell everyone about my experience. I bought both the VFX Running Light Kit and the Flash Equalizer Pro Kit. The reason I got 'em was to slow down the blink rate of both front and rear signals, and to have my front signals function as running lights. My front signals are Greggs and the rear is a Clear Alternatives taillight.
The instructions were clear and included everything, although I chose to solder the wires vs using the quick connects they provided. They recommend to attach the Flash Equalizer unit to the metal subframe to aid cooling (using the included double-sided heat tape), but I couldn't find a good place to mount it without removing the black plastic battery compartment. So I left it loose under the seat and may try again in the Spring. Even without mounting it to metal, I haven't experienced any overheating (although it IS winter here).
Bottom line, both VFX kits work great. They were easy to install and I am considering installing the kits on my second bike.
