HID Slim Ballast

HID Slim Ballast
Looking to upgrade the stock lighting on my 1000rr to the HIDs. I had the slim ballast kid on my 600rr and loved them. They significantly enhance the lighting which is why I want to put them on my new bike.
I've looked around for the best price, and I've seen some cheaper and some for the relative same price. I thought about buying the kit from the same place I bought my other bike's kit from but thought that maybe someone could refer me to a site that sells them cheaper.
I'm looking at Motorcycle HID Lights Bulbs & Motorcycle LED Tail Lights and they have the slim ballasts for $149.99 + S&H. Can anyone beat that and know it's a good product?
Thanks

That is super expensive.
$40 + shipping http://www.ddmtuning.com/Products/DD...ast-35W-or-55W.
+$20 if you need Hi/Lo H4's.
Search ddmtuning if you want a ton of good reviews.

YES! I did look over that site once, I wasn't sure if it was $40 for one ballast or for both? Do they sell Hi and Lo? It's not just the same bulb twice? That's how it was on my 600. Thanks buddy

$40 is for 2 ballasts, 2 bulbs and al the wiring.
What type of bulbs does your bike use?
If they are H4's you can get the Hi/Lo's for an Extra $20 and it is just a telescopic bulb that has the Hi and Lo in one bulb.
If they are H7's then the one side of your headlight is your Lo and the other said is your Hi and the $40 H7 kit will cover everything.

I would stick with the 35W as they are plenty bright and the 55W's you might run into problems with popping fuses on start-up as the bikes have smaller wiring then cars.
As for Kelvin ratings 4500K will give you the most useable light and the lower you go the more yellow and the higher you go the more blue.
I definitely wouldn't go higher then 8000k as the light output starts to significantly drop past that.
