Slim Ballast Vs. Regular Ballast
Hey guys,
well i couldn't get my splicing job to work so i'm looking on ordering another HID kit. I was just wondering, whats the difference, if any, between the slim and regular sized ballasts. I mean i realize the slim would be easier to mount but i do remember reading that their output was not as good as the traditional ones. Is this true? or is there any other real downside to having them? And lastly, with the regular sized ballasts, where did you guys mount them on the bike, cause honestly i'm stumped as to where to hide 2 of them on the front end.

Slims to me work just as good as the standards.Ive had slim hid's on mine for over a year now with zero issues.AS far asa output difference i doubt it..
i have the regulars, never had slims before....BlueFox has had about 3-4 different sets of HID's and prefers the regular sized, ask him for details. as far as mounting i have an F4i and i mounted then in the nose in the middle just below the healights....stacked on top of each other...worked great.
