Here is a photo of the ballasts mounted inside the front fairing. They are so small they fit in perfectly.

Are these really that bright?

Worth the money?

How hard were they to install compared to regular bulbs?

They were so easy to do, took me only 30 minutes to put in. Take off the front fairing, remove the rubber covering over the bulbs. Remove the metal clip that holds in the bulb. Take out the bulb, slide the new one in, plug in the wires. Mount the ballasts, clean up the wires with zip ties and put it back together on the bike.

The xeon bulbs without the ballasts are worthless. You can't see anything when riding and all you do is blind oncoming traffic. I had the xeons and thought they were the sh*t, wow was I wrong. They are so bright, I am getting a kit for my car!

Do you guys have issues with blowing fuses? I saw some other people changing out the fuse to a 15-30 amp fuse for that reason.

Got the same kit. I got the regular ballasts in mine. Installed the slim ones in my buddys bike last sunday. They are SOOOOO worth the price. Easy to install, and gosh they are the best spent money on the bike yet!
