F3 taillight diffence

What is the difference between the 95-96 to the 97-98. I found the taillight I want but it is only available for 97-98. What mods would be needed for the taillight in order to make it fit?

you need to replace the rear plastics and get the tail light mount for the 97-98

the seat as well

you'll need a 97-98 seat as well if you want it to line up with the fairings
