Default 900rr suspension upgrade

Hi, i'm new here and looking for some info on upgrading the suspension on my 98900rr. I was wondering if it was worth the money to get a top of the line shock or would it be more in my interest to get a middle of the pack priced shock. I am primarily a street rider. Thanks in advance

Hi, I just had lindeman enginerring rebuild my stock shock on my '98 and was amazed at the difference. I thought about installing an Ohlins but at around $1000 I couldn't justify the expence for a street bike. They rebuilt the shock and put on a little heavier spring and it only set me back $325 and worth every penny. Plus now I have the money to do the same to the front forks. You can get their address and phone number from the back of any Cyclenews. Good luck and Happy riding. MOTOGPICT
