Default Yosh or 2bros w/ power commander

I have a 2001 F4i, and I am looking at buying either a yoshimura RS-3 slip on or a twobrothers slip on for my bike. I've heard that it is recommended to have a PC with an exhaust upgrade, but I cannot afford both the exhaust and PC. So, would it be ok to runeither slip-on without the PC? Are many of you running without a PC and not having any problems?

i was wondering the same thing before i bought my two bros. slip-on, and stephens answered that for me telling me he has had zero problems w/ his F4i after installing his two bros. slip-on. he told me that he feels they are a waste of money. so i also bought a two bros slip-on and im having zero problems aswell. no popping or anything like that during decell. so you shouldnt have to worry about blowing money on both items. just go w/ though *cough cough* two bros!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol, i hope that helped.

If the pipe is just a slip on you will not damage the bike. All you are doing really is changing thesound that comes out. Saying that if you do not remap you might lose a little bite of power. This is because the exhaust is allowing the bike to breath easier making the bike run a little lean. The difference would really only be noticed on a dyno though . I am running a Yoshi slip on now with no problems...when I save up enough money I will get my bike rejetted. From a slip on you could expect about a 5% increase in the low to mid power range over stock after the rejet or remap.

I am sure this is bias....but I just love the Yoshi. They are a great company and every bike I have had I have bought one for.

I talked to the guy at my local bike shop, and he said that between two brothers and yoshi he would go with the yoshi. Hey said that they are generally an all around better exhaust. I am still trying to decide though, because I do like the deepsound of the two brothers. I have not heard a yoshi yet, so if anybody has a sound clip besides on http://www.sportrider.com/tech/146_0410_pipe_clips/ i would really like to hear it. Thanks.

that sounds awesome! i dont have the cash for a full exhaust, and i dont think i really need one. I am just looking at slip-ons. Everyone on this forum seems to be in love with the two brothers exhaust. They sound great and all, but it doesnt seem to be a very marketed exhaust. Ive never heard of them untill coming to this forum. Yoshi seems to be very well known and seems to have a very good reputation. I have also started looking into the LeoVince exhaust which also seems to be a nice exhaust. I have been spending soo much time trying to pick the right exhaust, it is beginning to be tiring. I just want to get it over with!!

OK...so I went to buy a Yoshimura rs-3 slip-on from kneedraggers.com, and this evening i received an email saying that it is discontinued. The guy at my local bike shop also said that he couldnt order it because it is discontinued. What is up with that? Has anyone else run into that problem recently???

i talked to the guys at jardine and they said you dont need to install a fuel processorif you use a slip on , but your bike will run optimal with one installed .
