Stainless steel VS. Kevlar VS. Carbon Fiber brake lines?
Ok, Im looking into brake lines for my 1999 F4, and it's time to use a lifeline. I'm choosing to ask the crowd, so heres the question.
Which of these options is the best,
A. Stainless Steel Braided lines
B. Kevlar lines
Or!
3. Carbon Fiber lines
Any input/ opinions/ testimonials would be most welcome! Thanks in advance.

RE: Stainless steel VS. Kevlar VS. Carbon Fiber brake lines?
Personally I went with Goodrich SS lines. The kevlar would save weight (maybe 1/2oz), but I do believe they also expand, not as much as stock rubber/nylon lines, but more than SS. The SS do not expand at all and give excellent feedback to the lever.

i would have to say it depends what you are getting them for... if you want looks and like cf, spend more $ and go with cf. if you just want the performance upgrade and more responsive feel, go with SS. i was looking for the performance aspect, so i went with goodridge SS front and rear. didnt notice a DRAMATIC improvement, but definitely an improvement over stock, and they look sharp. dont know too much about the kevlar lines, except they are more expensive. CF and kevlar may be a LITTLE lighter than SS, but the braiding is so thin that the weight saving is practically nothing anyway (and definitely not worth the extra $). if i were you, i would save my money and just get the SS...
