I have seen a car muffler on a cbr before. I glanced at it as I walked by, it was just welded on pretty poorly (bike was not in great condition). It was pretty damn loud but didn't sound too bad . Good Luck

sounds cool but i can see so many things going wrong here. Although car mufflers and bike mufflers are generally designed the same, car mufflers are heavier. An apexi NA N1 muffler is about 8-10 lbs (more or less), also substantially larger. I had a delkevic GP exhaust but it weighed about 4 and a half lbs. and no where near in size. just make sure you mount it properly

well i received my muffler a day late (Thursday) so i didnt have much time to play with it before i left for vacation. its actually amazing sounding. slightly quieter than my yoshi but a deeper growel. twi problems though. one... the 90 ° pipe that connects to the muffler hits the battery box. easy fix though as i just have to cut one end down a kittle so its not so long. second, the larger portion of the muffler hits one of the brackrts that runs from o e side of the frame to the other. i figured i could just take a rubber mallet and maybe crease the section of the muffler that hits. bormally i would never think of denting a muffler but i dont see why it would effect it seeing as its a huge car mufler thats going on a bike.

gotta tune in too, also thinking about putting a universal carbon fibre twin can muffler on my f2 that's, I think, also meant for a car however the same shop sold a bike muffler that looked 100f identical only cingle can and five times more expensive.
