does this work on F3 fairing stay?

how come u decided with an R1 front instead of like a 600rr front or something to stay in the honda family? then again all modern sportsbikes have pretty much the same front fairing anyways (bleh)

anyways it looks fantastic! i would love to purchase one. hopefully you get those replicas soon.
oops i did not see your other thread with the F4i conversion. are you gonna have this available for under $300 too? i want an F4i front!! i think it looks so much better when mounted to the F3 sides!. please tell me you'll have these avaiable soon *prays*

The conversion will require a R1 stay, smaller or modified gauges and it will fit the F2 and F3. So what ever model the conversion is for will require that particular stay, headlights, etc. I am working on a project its a moto GP style RC211V upper fairing that will allow the use of the stock F3 stay and gauges for those that wish to keep their original parts. I plan to keep the price of the F3/R1 upper under 250.00. I hope to have this up and running before the end of APR.

G'day Chris.
Interesting Topic .I work with Plastic Injection Moulding & have done for over 25 years.I find it a crying shame that it is such an expensive way of producing parts.Injection moulds i have worked with have weighed up to 3.5 tonne for a single cavity part.
cheers

Last summer a friend of mine took my parts around some of the factories here in south korea and we were both amazed at how much it would cost to get a plastic injection mold made plus a production run. One factory wanted 10,000 just to CAD the fairing and design the blueprints for the injection mold. So ever since I have be learning about fiberglass replication.

when do u think you'll have your first replicas available? something that can use stock F3 gauges and stay would be amazing!!! i was going to repaint my bike soon but i might as well wait until i can get one of your products and get that painted with the bike. i cant wait!!

The only Alternative that comes to mind Chris is to "Roto-Mould" them using cast alum moulds???Not confident on using ABS for Roto-moulding though mate!

I am working on it a fairing that uses the stock F3/F2stay, guages, windscreen, and different styles of aftermarket headlights. Its based of the Honda Moto GP RC211V. Its going to be sweet.

What is stopping you from selling the pieces that you have right now, like the ones that are on your bike at the moment?
