cheating the odometer by swapping gauges?

no you can buy new guages and have zero miles showing on your f4...the problem is the tax office has the mileage when each owner transfers the titles also shops write down your mileage if it has ever been in a shop so its pointless your going to get screwed in the end....the only way to get your original miles is take it to a shop and they have a computer and ecxtract the mileage from the old gauage and they put it on the new one...

+1 if not done this way, one you wil lbe breaking to law and screwing any potential buyers. Two you will end up with a savage or odo discrepency title, which will lower the value of your bike as well.

In Louisiana, if your bike is over X years old they just exempt the odometer on the title and reg.

dude if you are seriously thinking about this then go **** yourself. that is one of the most lousy, stupid and illegal things i can think of. if your in that dire need of a little cash when you sell ur bike, in my opinion, you should not even own a bike. if ur that hard up for cash you should be buying groceries and looking for a ****ing job. USE YOUR ****ING HEAD!!!
