wind shield

Gday,
I have just scored an after market tinted shield for my 06 600rr.

Whats the best way to get the little rubber/screw gromets into the new shield ?????[:'(]

Use a little hand soap that DOES NOT have ammonium in it. If it has ammonium, you might get the rainbow effect on your windshield.

just push one end and work it into the windscreen.. not that hard, i never used anything

I had such a problem with them popping out of place while I worked the screen back into place... took forever... I had to ductape 2 of them tightly in place so they wouldnt pull out when sliding the screen down.

Thanks all, got it sorted. ended up twisting em in big end first with pliers. NOt sure about the shape compared to the genuine!
