RE: wanna upgrade my 08 600rr
I have thesame bike dude, I got a Full Yoshimura Exhaust ($850 shipped), Power Commander III USB ($270 shipped), and a K&N air filter ($65)for mine. I love the things I've done to it performance wise. It's smoother, more power, sounds great, and my gas mileage has improved some. (Which will get even better when I get it tuned) I got all my stuff from 58cycle.com but look around, you may be able to find better prices. They were fast with the free shipping and I didn't have any problems with them. Sorry I don't have any pictures but the exhaust looks awesome. I have the graffiti so I went with carbon fiber. It sits in the stock fender and looks more stock than the others I've seen. I hate the way the two brothers sticks out and the duel Jardine looks l i k e crap IMO. Good luck with your shopping, let us know what youend up getting.

+1 ...if you're a new rider I wouldn't suggest putting more performance on it yet, sit back and learn the bike before you make it any faster. And I wouldn't suggest tryin to bypass this bikes limits either, if @167 is too slow then you should have bought a bigger bike. I'm new to riding too so all I'm doing is looks upgrades for now...besides we have the fastest 600 to begin with

+1 on the fastest stock v stock bikes. dude if your new i would suggest you do nothing to your bike for performance other than maybe getting a slip on. you dont need more than stock has to offer really and a slip on will clean up your look, lose a about 15 pounds or something from stock can, and make you excited cuz it will sound way cooler. do us a favor and wait for more experience to do major mods. in the mean time, clean up the rest of the bike with a f/e or flushmounts

frame SLIDERS, swing arm spools, swing arm sliders, fork sliders. how has this not been said yet? damn this forum has changed since i've been gone. protect your investment, instead of trying to make it more than you can handle. im 100% CONFIDENT in saying you can not ride that bike to its full abilities in stock form. There are very few people in this world that can. you want to clean it up, put a slip on, put the tail light in the tail, flush mounts.
