You have to remove the side, tank, and tail plastics along with the seats. After that you have to lift and hinge the tank back to acess the lower injectors. The hardest part for me was to plug in the TPS sensor because of where it is located. The TPS placed close to the out side, left side of the bike I think, and it is a tightly placed between the frame and the motor so it took some dexterity to plug in the PC inline plug.

The PC comes with detailed instructions but if I remeber correctly some of the pics are grainy and hard to make out. If you have the shop manual you can't go wrong.

If you need to feel free to call me. If you don't have my cell PM me and I will PM you with it.

yea the power commander isn't too hard to install. a friend and i did it in about an hour. the hardest thing was taking the panels off and making sure the screws didn't get lost. it's best if you have some help when it comes time to plug in the unit to the injectors. the other person can hold the tank up while you plug it in. the tps connector was tricky since it's in a tight spot.

Actually the shop manual suggests a way to insert a thin rod in such a way that keeps the tank hinged back by itself. I did not know this when I installed the PC but it worked great when installing my Speedo Healer

i understand that my bike and your bike are totally different and the procedures could be different, but what all is involved when installing a speedo healer?

So I don't highjack the post check out the below link to Speedohealer's site. The site lists the different bikes that they have instructions for. It looks like they have your bike listed.
