RE: sproket and chain conv.
Is this a good setup?? -1 in the front and +3 in the rear?

It says that it has a clip master link, can i change it to a rivet?
Thanks,
Jay

RE: sproket and chain conv.
-1/+2 means dropping one tooth on the countershaft sprocket (front) and adding two teeth on the driven sprocket (rear).
Stock is 16/46. -1/+2 (for better acceleration) is 15/48.
Make sure you know what you are ordering and why. Many folks don't like taller gears because it increases the RPM that your cruise at, decreases mpg, and makes a buzzy bike buzzier.

I have never ridden a F3 so I am not sure. If you can deal with the increase in RPM, then add two in the rear and see how you like it. If you need more you can always drop a tooth in front.
Also, for everyone doing chain conversions, don't waste your cash on a 520. It will wear faster, and unless you are racing you don't need the weight reduction.
