sprocket help pls!

Default sprocket help pls!

thinking of upgrading my rear sprocket to a 1 tooth up and 1 tooth down on the front of my 05 cbr600rr...do i need to change the chain as well? are there any ups and downs or any add ons i might need to install after? is this something hard to do?...any suggestions would really help..thanks!

You dont need to change chain if you get a 525 pitch sprocket. If you dont know what you are doing, dont attempt it. What are you looking for out of this. One of the most common moves is a +1 -2

Backwards -1, +2 i think . D2D is right though no need to buy new chain if sticking with the 525. But if you get 520 sprokets then you also need a 520 chain. not 100% sure but i have heard if you stick with the 525 sprokets you can use the stock chain with no problems. Maybe if you chain is in bad condition...then of course change it out to [8D].

us 07 owners have it lucky
they gave us a 42T rear sprocket
we can find oem 43T on ebay for pennies
15T fronts are cheap already
its not a +2 in the rear but i did a 15/43 combo for 30 bucks
