Default Shorty Stealth Exhaust 06 F4i help

I bought the shorty stealth motogp exhaust for my 06 f4i and it says that it does not fit the CBRs with the O2 sensor, but I figured I would just drill a hole and put it in there. Well I installed it and just let the O2 sensor hang on the side while i give it a spin with the new exhaust (sounds bad *** by the way), and it stops. The red light comes on, and the battery dies so it wont start. Overheated? Or do I just need to put the O2 sensor in the pipe? and if so, is there some kind of "metal glue" i could use to fix it in there instead of drilling threads in the pipe.
Thanks!

If it overheated it would have said so on the temp gauge. Were you not watching it? Red light is oil pressure I thought. You need to put the 02 back in and do it the correct way.
