Default Power Commander - Fairing Removal

Hello,

I aparently need to remove the left fairing to install the PC III. Anyone have any tricks on how to remove this without error?

just unscrew the fairing bolts and put them in an empty tin can, put a large fridge magnet on the bottom of the can to keep them form running away. If your not comfortable putting it back together right now, then take large scale digital pictures each time you remove a few layers of fairing..

well you need to remove all the fairings to put in a pc3. just unscrew and un pop the plastic-ma-bobs and dont lose anything. is this an 05/06 or what?

First off what kind of bike do you have second. Generally you have to remove the fairings. I was able to do it by just moving the tank to the side. you may be able to as well.. if you have an f4i

make sure to put in the connector below the tank, not below the seat
