Default RE: No Cut Frame Slider

i found a pair of mine on ebay. there etched with "RR" on them and are all black. i really like them. i would do a search about frame sliders first though. there is some great information on here about them. i know vortex makes nice ones, and there is alot of pluses and minus for having no cut sliders. for me, i didn't want to cut into my fairings and i was not going to budge on that, so i went with the no cuts. its a personal choice though. i think as far as performance goes, the cut ones are better. i believe its because of there placement on the bike. i hope this helps.

Well done! I don't always agree with the cuts being better, but very good info there!

I had the cut ones on my old bike and I agree the are better but with my new 06 I don't want to cut the fairings so I just want the no cut incase the bike goes down it will save the frame. Thanks

I had the Cut ones on my bike and it saved my chassis and my engine whenI went down going 65. I have heared about people buying the cut ones and just from droping their bike the no cuts broke. So If your wanting to protect your bike I would get the cut ones. But cutting the fairings does suck, your personal preference.

just to chime in. for street and around town riding and protection no cuts may work fine. On the other hand if you are going to track, for the most protection cut fairing sliders are the best choice. It is personal preference, and depends more on what you want to do with the bike rather than aesthetics. Good luck
