First off, dont waste your time. I dont even think its possible to get to your baffle on the stock pipes. It would be a waste of time & $. You can find a good pipe for cheap. I got an Erion carbon fiber slip on my bike & I paid $275 for it from PERFORMANCE MOTOSPORTS. Give them a shout. Last off do not remove the baffles from the exhaust cause it really sounds like crap & it will back fire like crazy.

on an f4i ya thats ok to do cuz its such a long pipe and dont lose any pressure really but not on the 600rr, like ^^^ said it'll sound like dog$$$hit and backfire, just pick up a used one on craigslist or ebay, should be able to find one for $200 range, save sum money and do it right you'll be waaaay better off dude.

I just got a new Vance and Heines SSR2 for my 600 off of Ebay for $125 shipped. I had a yoshi that was cut in half or a little more, it sounds ok but yes it does backfire all the time.

what does backpressure have to do with anything. the important thing that he should watch for is losing flow velocity and pipe length. backpressure has nothing to do with it...
