Need help/suggestions with wiring
I have a 2006 CBR 600RR w/LED tail/turn signals...I am installing proton flushmounts up front. I purchased my bike w/the LED taillight already installed and although I have not checked, due to the blink rate (seems a bit fast) I don't believe they installed resistors. When I install the protons I'm not sure what to expect. I have heard that I will need resistors at one end or the other or a new flash relay (not really wanting to remove upper cowl). I also read that you can install a showchrome dual load equalizer to fix any potential flash problems. What's easiest, what's best? Also, where does the showchrome dual load equalizer get spliced in at? Please help!

hey if you go to www.tripageled.com you can get a new relay that plugs in under the seat that slows them back down to normal. tristan is a great guy and can make all your problems go away with a simple plug and play mod

Signals
as far as the plug and play relay that only goes for '07 and above, on the '06 it is behind the left mid fairing...i can use the elfr-1 from customled.com, i just have to wire it in...as far as needing the slow blinkers...with this install (w/o new relay)the flash rate isn't fast, it's hyper...u can't really tell it is flashing and in order for anyone to see it while i am riding it has to be slowed down...i prefer the faster flash rate cuz it seems to be more noticeable...hyper is no good though...also as far as the problem with the proton signal not working, it seems the signal itself is defective...they are shipping me out another one...thanks for the input...i'll update when i get everything done

got the relay from customled.com and got it installed....it fixed the hyper flash. now i am just waiting for the replacement signal from hightechspeed. there is a pretty good vid. on the install (relay)...just check "2005 cbr 600rr led blinker relay install" on youtube....i have an '06 cbr 600rr and the install is the exact same...wires and everything...nice clean install, no resistors...you should check it out if you're having issues with the hyper flash and want to avoid resistors
