Talking Luggage!

So I am more an adventurer than most sport bike riders. I camp often, and take over night trips so I need some sort of luggage for my tent, hammock, and clothes. Anyone ever use anything like this?

Or know any good saddle bags I can throw on my 07 cbr600? I would prefer saddle bags so hopefully my wife can sit on the back untill we get her a bike.

I will grab a tank bag as well but need a little bit more room.

I've seen it before. Im not sure if a tent will fit in a saddle bag though.

Ok I did a little more research and have seen people do it. The only thing that concerns me is the exhaust being under the tail... O well I can figure it out.

I have a retarded amount of camping gear. Everything from expedition canvas tents that sleep 15 down to my hammock the size of a coke can. I have two tents that are smaller than two pair of shoes. lol... even with the poles.

ive got those bags for my 07. i used them last year on a three day trip in the north east and they work pretty good. there is no strap that goes under the pipe. the way that i have it connected is to the passenger pegs and rear signals. as long as they are not over loaded they stay sturdy enough. i had them packed them too much and they started to sag a little but they never touched the exhaust. plus i got the tail bag that connects right to them. as far as camping gear, as long as its as small as you say, you should be fine but i dont know how it would work with them and you wife. the cover strap goes right over the rear seat and might be crazy uncomfortable.

I rode all last year with the tail bag just doing overnight trips. Over the winter offseason i got the saddlebags to match, seems like a decent enough amount of room. through everything in it and placed it on the bike. just waiting for reliable weather to take some trips.

I've got those exact saddle bags plus the tail bag that connects to them .. no complaints, works great ... I recommend them.

and yeah, even w/out tail bag, no way for a passenger unless she sits like a ballerina doing a split lol

I also have the Cortech tailbag, it works great. I use it for grocery shopping every week along with a backpack. I recommend it!
