Well, I actually think your the cats meow, and your projects are always stellar, I just had to do them myself. So, heres my HID installation. Im not going into details, just the only thing I did different, I think was I made my own wiring harness. i wanted to have the same type as the stock one, like 5x2, but in the time allotted, I had to use 3 trailer wiring harnesses instead, and that worked out good also, I have 1 for headlights ( left right both 2 wires) And 1 for left and 1 for right ballasts. The HID kit I have has the ignighter separate and I put the ignighter between my headligh housing, and ballasts in the tail section.

Since the bike was totally apart, I decided to also install tripages Knight rider 3rd eye. Bad *** btw..
It was so easy, just unscrew the 2 screws holding the light on the fairing, take the bulb out, unscrew the bulb holder, and feed the led strip through, and plug it in to the original light connector. If/when you get it, you will know what Im talking about. Only bad thing is they give you so much wiring to the control module..
