HID INSTALLATION questions
i have a 600rr 08 i'm installing hid headlights. i was told that i needed a relay to go to my high beam so the bulbs will be the same power when i turn the high beams on. So i installed the regular dirive light and ballast and it works. but i looked at relay and it isn't long enought to reach and i don't want to go hackin wire up to extend it, but i noticed a lot of guys aren't using a relay, so i hooked up the other bulb and it works, but it is quite a bit britter, i'm not sure if it is just the angle of the bulb, since the bulb is turned or if it is acually brighter. so right now i have 2 hid headlight installed with no relay, do i need the relay, or is it just the angle of the bulb that makes it look brighter??? and any pic of where to hide the ballast? i can't really find a place there isn't much lenght of wire to really move it very far away???

Unless your running a different watt to your bright it will be the same brightness. It Only appears brighter because the light housing has the reflectors positioned differently which scatters the light a different way.
As for hiding the ballast you just kinda gotta wiggle it in there to where it stays. I dont have any photos of where mine.

That headlight set-up with 1 on and the other the hi beam is the only thing I hate about my honda

There should be 2 screws on your headlight housing one for vertical and one for horizontal.
If you do this though, you will not have any hi-beam for driving down dark roads with no street lights
This will not make them the exact same but it will be the closet to being able to drive with both lights on without pissing everyone around you off unless you do a projector set-up.
