Smile headlight mod

just wondering on an easy way to mod the headlights so that both of them come on..I am tired of people saying that I have one headlight out. I have a 2006 Honda CBR 600 F4i

not to be a jerk but the easy way is to turn on your brights. Other than that no. There is a way to make it where both are on but it is no easy. I ride with my brights on all the time. Who cares it is pisses someone off. I would rather they be pissed off at me and not kill me then not see me and run right into me.

Theres actually a really simple way. pull your front end off the bike. set it to where you can see the wires and look at the two headlight plugs. alls you need to do is that the high beam power wire and splice it into your low beam power wire. that way it has constant power no matter what. but like ^ said you can just ride with your highs on, its the same effect.

With HIDS will this burn out your bulbs quicker if they both are always on? I was told that HIDS burn "hotter" and generally do not last as long as a stock bulb. So, I imagine having them on longer than normal would wear them out.
THanks

actually its the opposite. HID's do burn hotter if im thinking correct, but HIDs have a way longer life then a halogen bulb. so running both wont hurt a thing. what hurts HID's and shortens the bulb life is if you turn them on and off repeatedly. that will burn up the igniter and wear out the bulb.
