Has anyone heard of these? I saw an ad in a bike magazine for this, basically it replaces the stock gas cap with one that has what resembles low profile handle bars. These act as grab bars for passengers, I personally think its a great idea, because my wife loves to ride on the back, but we all know that it is less than comfortable when you have to brake quickly. Passengers can use the bars to prevent their weight from shifting during braking. Unfortunately I was in a hurry and forgot to buy the magazine, and I have yet to find the ad in any other magazine. I tried google, but I cannot remember the name of the company and have had no luck. Let me know if any of you have seen these, I believe they are pretty new.

 

That sounds interesting. Have you told her that she can have her own bike with a set of handle bars to ride? J/K, I sometimes try to convince my gf to get a bike.

 

Well, she is willing to learn, and i told her i would teach her on my old buell blast, but in all honesty I don't know if she would use the bike enough to make a new bike purchase worth it.
