I was wondering if anyone can give me an idea of what there getting as far as gas milage. How far can you go on a single tank of gas. Im thinking of taking a road trip and I want to have a pretty good idea. I know it all depens on weight mods etc but mainly im looking for a rough idea. Thanks

 

totally depends on how you ride. when i get on it... probably 30 or less mpg. when i cruise easy... closer to 40 mpg. on my past road trips i'd stop about every 140 miles to fill up. i could have gone 150-160 easy though.

 

around 40mpg cruising alot less when having more fun!!!!

 

Filled up today and got 36 mpg with a good bit of aggressive riding.

 

yeah if you dont hammer down then 40+/- I got 45 out of my best tank. my gas light comes on usually around 140-150 miles into the ride, and even then you still have at least a gallon left when that light comes on. so you still have about 40 miles left after that. I wouldnt push it over 165-170 though. just because I dont like to get that low. I usually just fill up as soon as the light comes on

 

well the reason i ask is because I dont have a gas light

 

i got a gas light at 125 miles but i road for another 30 and only filled up about 3.7 gallons even after that. so i have another gallon left. i was inbetween...getting on it once in a while but also driving "nice" in traffic. came out to just over 41 mpg.
