Exhaust and FE Kit
Hello there,
Anyone live in the Southern CA area and can recommend a good shop that can install an exhaust and FE kit as well as furture additions? When it comes to bikes, my mechanical abilities aren't so greatand my goal is to not screw anything up.

I live in Westlake Village (unfortunately) at the moment and work in Woodland Hills. Heybuddy's suggested website works because it's close to my office. However, if you know of anyone in the Thousand Oaks area, I'd appreciate the reference.
I personally would take it slow and do it yourself. You will be suprised how easy it is to work on your bike. Not to mention how much you will learn about it. Plus, doing it yourself is half of the fun!
This is the SECOND time I had to write this because this site is cursed!
I actually took the advice and put the Akrapovic exhaust in over this past weekend. It was actually quite fun and I’m glad I did it.The FE kit on the other hand required some cutting and drilling so I’m leaving that up to the experts -dropping the bike off tonight. I also have a Power Commander on its way and plan to work on that this weekend.
So by Sunday night I should have the following mods on my '08 Honda CBR600:
Akrapovic slip-on exhaust
Competition Werks FE Kit
Flush mounted front turn signals
Vortex Frame Sliders
Power Commander III
What do you guys think - will an after marketair filterhelp with performance in any way?? Thought I should do this before I remap everything this weekend.
I'd put some pictures up but this site won't allow me too because of the size. Bummer!

Its too bad you got the comp. werkz kit. Ride Engineering makes some nice fender eliminator kits that are easy to install and look clean! They also make some cool axle blocks, billet oil plugs and real carbon fiber tank pads. I have a 08 CBR 1000 decked with Ride stuff and always get compliments.
The Competition Werks FE kit actually looks great. The license plate is now located above the back tire so it makes it look nice and clean unlike the Ride Engineering produts. I'm not entirely excited about the flush mounted front turn signals though - they don't light up very bright and are hard to see.
