Default Exhaust cut out

On the rr I would like a easy open pipe hole and easy close again so that the exhaust flows though the miffler my only idea is a drilled hole at a bend or on the under side with a nut welled over it to plug it back up with a bolt any others?

do you mean you want a cut out that you can cover up so the exhaust will go out through your muffler as normal but then you can open it up and itll be like youre straight piped like some drag cars do like the qtp cut out?

and if so, is there a purpose?

ah yeah gotcha. Well you can just have a friend or a shop weld that inline with your midpipe and then hit the button and open and close it as you please. Or they make non electronic ones that look exactly the same but you just have a lever/cable that you have to open and close it manually with.
