Default Delrin vs. the Rest

I was wondring if anyone has any info on delrin sliders vs. shoguns, is there really that much of a difference? The only two i have found that are delrin are Sato(don't like how they look) and Pro-Tek (they seem kinda cheap). I was thinking of just going with Shogun's i have found a complete kit at kneedraggers.com for 99$ (includes sliders, bar ends and rear spools). Price is not really an issue or would going for a brand not made of delrin be bad?. Anyone?

vortex, lp, etc...all good sliders mang...anything that's not metal and not a "bolt on" are good sliders. don't let the price fool you mang...
before shogun came out with all them bling sliders, people were using Vortex, intuitive, etc. which were like 40 bucks and worked awesome.

The point is that derlin are supposed to grind down when the hit pavement, as opposed to metal which will slide and possibly catch on something hard and cause a flip. Derlin are preffered over metal.

GET DELRIN

My buddy had chrome metal ones on his R1 and it caught and the bike went flippin down the road.

Even though it was a Yamaha, it was still a sad sight to see.
