Cruise control?
Hey all, I have been in the market for a throttle lock style cruise control for my F4i and I was just wondering if anyone has any suggestions for a good one. I have been shopping around and not found anything super appealing, just wondering what other have used.
All opinions appreciated.

RE: Cruise control?
You'll get a lot of the "don't do it" type responses so just remember that you still need to keep your hands ready to go and on the bar at fraction of a second ... also it depends if you want a true cruise control (i.e. ones that adjust speed and keep it steady) or ones that just keep the throttle in a set position, I assume the latter since you said "lock" .. there's a big difference in cost. I have throttlemeister, it's great quality and it works fine for me but I only use it for a few seconds at a time to give my wrist a break, NOT for prolonged periods. I also have the cheapy $10 cramp buster but I only use that on long hwy rides ... it doesn't "lock" but lets you just rest your wrist on it for less fatigue.

RE: Cruise control?
Yeah, I was thinking more of the latter. I do quite a bit of touring around and am looking for something to rest my wrist for a few minutes when I need to. I also have one of the throttle rockers that I use on the freeway, but it just doesn't cut down enough on wist stain. I have been practicing a lot with bending my elbows more and supporting myself with my legs which helps, but after a couple hundred miles I really need something more.

My buddy had the throttlemeister on his ZX-6 and loves it. I'm jealous of it when we go on long rides. It is actually really cool how it works.
