Thumbs up F4i Cruise Control

I do a quite a bit of commuting on my F4i and have always wanted some form of throttle lock or cruise control just to be able to relax a bit more on the highways. I've been using a palm rest for a while now, and while it makes a huge difference, you still have to hold your hand in place the entire time on the highway. Throttlemeisters have great reviews but are crazy expensive. I've thought for a while now that there has to be a better way! After tinkering with a Yamaha version of "Vista Cruise" i think i've got one... and for only $24.

So far it's been working out. Install is a breeze, no permanent mods required to the bike.

Nice write-up. If it works for you, that's what matters.

I could've used one of those two years ago on my 10,000 mile road trip. Instead of wrapping my iPod cord around the throttle.
I just ordered one from eBay.
Thanks for the write up.

Came with the Vista Cruise and it crucial for smooth operation so the grip does not rub on the plastic or metal rivot on the part.

I think I may do this, I haven't had my bike long but my hand has gotten fatigued on longer highway trips. I've had the bike about a month and I've already done one 7 hour day on it D F4i ftw. I'm kind of in a modding frenzy because of the cold weather. Thanks for linking to the guide instead of posting it directly. The mods won't let me view pictures.
