Cosmetic Surgery Needed
Hi from down under! I hate to admit it (anything you do the first time is a carton!) but this is my maiden voyage on any type of forum. Yehaa! I ride a 2006 cbr600F4i, have had it for about 3 months, got my unrestricted motorcycle licence last week, and now Ican ride it legally
without having to worry about the fun police. Nice looking bike- after being dragged kicking and screaming from my Kwaka- but my current issue is the back end. There's enough room there for the number plate, the rego disc, a couple of posters, a dart board, and whatever other advertising space I could sell. I'd love to know how to go about cleaning that up a wee bit- if it's possible?? Any suggestions would be much appreciated!
Cheers!

Are you talking about your big fender? You can check eBay for undertails with integrated turn signals and lights and stuff, or you can just get a fender eliminator. I think if you're gonna spend the cash for a fender eliminator you might as well go the rest of the way and get an undertail.
Hmm, after looking at my post, maybe I should have clarified. Fender eliminators usually only refer to replacing the big ugly OEM fender that comes on the bike aka the mud flap lol. Fender eliminator usually includes mounting bracket for the license plate, and turn signals.
Undertails on the other hand, normally have a bracket included, depends which one you get, comes with tail lights, and turn signals built into the undertail as well. So that's why I was saying, unless you like the stock tail lights, you might as well get a undertail, because fender eliminators can be just as expensive depending on what one you get, or you could just modify the OEM one however you want.

Ahhhhhh that makes a bit more sense- cheers for the clarification! That big advertising bilboard on the rearis exactly want I want to shrink! Why do they make them so big in the first place?? Now, decisions decisions......
