Cheap mods for 07 600rr
Just finished a few mods on my bike and thought I would post some pictures and get some opinions. Heres a list of what I have done.
gxsr mirrors-got mirrors for free (a lot of people don't like to ride with mirrors so I just asked a buddy and he gave them to me), and about 5 hours labor. These were really a pain to install but if I had to do it on another bike, I prob could handle it in about an hour.
painted windscreen-painted inside of windscreen with satin Krylon Fusion. Looks great in my opinion, still glossy from the outside. Cost about $4.00 and 45 minutes labor.
Bike lites fender eliminator-chose this one because it has 3 small led's on each side for turn signals. Not very visable, but I think having just an integrated turnsignal in Arkansas is illegal. Cost $50.00 and about 20 minutes labor.
Clear alternatives integrated tailight-very bright and visable. Keeps the back of the bike legal and looking much better than stock. Cost $50.00 and 5 minutes labor when installed with the bikelites kit.
Total cost for all mods-$104.00 and about 7-8 hours labor(which I really don't mind because I love working on my bike)
Let me know what you think
Also, I removed the factory front turn signals and just have a hole there now. Need some input as to whether I should fill them and paint or get some flushmounts. If I get some flushmounts, I would like to get some that recess in the hole a little bit.

Sorry, really having trouble with uploading pictures. I could use some help with that too!

RE: Cheap mods for 07 600rr
yeah, I put my front tire on today.
The mirrors were pretty easy to wire. I just cut the harnesses of of the oem turn signals and used them(so you don't have to cut any factory wires). Then I figured out which one was for the running lights and taped it off and wired the other two wires to the mirror.
I chose the gsxr mirrors because I was worried about the visability of the flush mounts. I try to be as safe (and legal) as possible b/c I have 3 young children that I need to make it home to at night!
The mirrors are also easier to see behind you with. They have a little bit wider and lower stance. They don't seem to vibrate near as much either.
