Default cbr 600 f4i headers

i currently own a 2002 cbr 600 f4i that came with an arrow slipon. i love the current sound of the exhaust but i am looking for a little more power and some more sound out of it. is there any company out there that i can pick up just the header from the full exhaust off of or am i going to need to buy a full system? to get the same exhaust with a header is going to cost me over 1000 and im really not looking to spend that. i know that i can pick something up for around 600 for a full system, but i would rather just buy the header if possible. thanks for any help.

f/s won't get you any noticeable power unless you're tracking it. by this i mean that your lowend will be slop, while your higher end, like 9K and above, will be a bit faster.

the best thing you can do for the street is regearing.

you can mix-match systems, or get the arrow header and midpipe, can should be the same. however, if you mix match systems, you may not get the gain you're looking for as it's not designed to work together. also, you will want to run a pc3 to account for the f/s.

you can check with arrow...they do have a f/s...and see if they'll sell you the midpipe and header.
don't quote me on this but the can should still be the same.
