its about time for me to replace my front brake pads and i was wondering if anyone knew of a better brake pad, than the stock ones

 

I put on a set of Galfer pads once my OEM pads were done. I got the pads as part of a package deal along with my braided SS brake lines.

They perform far better than OEM - progressive and predictable whether they are hot or cold.

 

Honestly I found the OEM pads really good. I'm now on a set of EBC HH pads. Went to the track with them. They work very well along with my Galfer lines.

 

i replaced the pads on my 1000rr with galfer HH. during my research on the 1000rr.net webpage i found a lot of people saying to stay away from EBC. they are prone to warping because they havent updated their brake design in a decade. i dont know from personal experience but the main presenter of this information is a guy who goes by the name LordDuckhunter. if he says it is true. bet your life on it.

also look at HRC pads or vesrah

 

Never heard of warpage with EBC. One man's opionion does not a truth make.

 

EBC's are fine. Vesrah, better.

 

Everybody's got their favorites. Heck at my level they're all the same.
