1000RR steering damper on F4i?
anybody done or heard of this? during my initial research i see the RR triple clamp is larger top to bottom, and has holes and bumps for the damper to mount. looks like the tank mount part might match up. i believe the forks are spaced wider so you couldn't use the RR clamp without replacing the whole fork assembly.
i have no idea how the electronics work, but i'd guess there would be power and ground, and a speed sensor input to determine the amount of dampening. should be able to splice into the current vss wire no problem. that is, if that's all you'd need and if that's the way it works.
any thoughts?

This was in another thread
They said that it wouldnt work because the 1000RR uses a Electronic Steering Dampner. Which would mean that it uses the 1000RR computer also.
They just said it couldnt be done as a simple swap.
